My computer screen is choppy when scrolling...

I just reinstalled windows because of system shutdown problem I was having everytime I went online... anyways... after the reinstallation, ive been getting this annoying "lag" or choppiness when ever I scroll the page down with explorer, anyone know what Im talking about??? if so, please help... Thanks in advance...

^hmm? i didnt read that post yet, but every time i install windows xp and soon as i hit windows, i open IE, and when i scroll i also get this choppy effect, i found out by installing updated NVIDIA Drivers stops this on restart.
Try updating your drivers.

It kinda confuses me, cause in the past i didnt have to do this, but then again, that was another computer.
But i coulda sworn that it was ok before on this comp.
