it's only temporary though, because once the p-bill (power bill) comes, the lots of them are gonna be off line.
I noticed those big increases.... you goys just wont let me rest will you!!!!!

Well, as I said earlier, my production is at its max! Well, sorta... I still have machines crunching Genomes :mad:
This week I'm building my Nephew a rig (with a XP2400+), and soon my sister will also be adding a similar CPU, all with broadband and folding 24/7! So watch yer backs :)
In September, when I have more spare time, I'm going to do a one by one check on my borgs to find who is doing Genomes! lol
*PS* way to go on those increases, no doubt that competition helps the cause :D

If I can convince my coworkers stop shutting down their PCs on nights and weekends, I'll probably be in the 7000 PPW realm.
Maybe I'll tell them Dell recommends leaving the PCs running so as not to strain the power supplies.
One of the hardest things on a computer is the surge of turning it on ;)
I tell people that if they are going to use it the next day then just leave it on. If they are going on vacation then turn it off. With all of the power down features that they have now its a minimal cost to leave them on. Monitors use more power. Tell them to turn those off. they will never know! hahahahaha
like epauls said on and off kills the insides.

BTW mustanley great numbers. were not gaining on the aussies (or [H] for that matter) and we can use all the points we can get!

I've just temporarily lost a machine (XP2400+), hopefully in 2-3 days it'll be back online.
Now I just have to find a way to keep my production at 7K :)
I know what ya mean. I added a PIII 800 and then I lost one:(
Problem is I don't think I'll get that one back. It's gotten to the point of not being worth spending any more $$ on.
Then there are the 2 win98 machines that I can't upgrade yet. I thought I finally got it through to them about leaving the computers on....but now they leave them at the Login in screen overnight and weekend...ie no production.
I've been trying to get the "Beast" going but it takes 3 of us to get it done and we've been to busy to all hook up. I'm 99% sure it's gonna happen...at least till the electric bill comes through ;)
