How well are these overclocking? I'm considering one over a 2.6C if they overclock well, but I can't seem to find much data. At min I want 250 fsb (3.5GHz). I have 2x256 of OCZ PC3700 gold and an IS7....just waiting to buy a CPU.

I have seen a lot of posts dealing with the 2.8c, but look in the Intel CPU section and not this "general" section. I think you will find a lot of good stuff there.

PJ has one for sale here. From my testing 250 FSb is possible but not normal, most cant seem to do over 240 to 245 FSB mine included. Bah chip is sold
The guy here saying he got 250 with 3200 DDR can you show some benches plz cause I cant even get close to that and we have the same setup except the memory.
I have the 3200 Corsair but not the LL.

running mine at 248fsb with a 1:1 divisor. That is my stable 24-7 speed but I can get into windows at 268 fsb which doesnt matter since it is not stable. Hope to turn that around when my water chiller gets here. I cant get more stable lowering the divisor down or relaxing the memory timmings which is telling me the cpu is currently maxed out at the current temps.
2.8c at 3600 - 257fsb at tightest timings the board allows on corsair xms 3500. Mobo is P4C800-E. Running on Stock air cooling SL6WJ L319A941 Malay
See my signature. Seems like lots of 2.8C will run 3.4 to 3.5 gig. I had mine at 3.6 gig for awhile, but it wasn't completely stable at that speed. I've been running at 3.5 gig all summer now.
