Drive Image or Ghost 8RDA+ 1.1 to 8RDA+ 2.x

You can't just Drive Image from one brand of mobo to another.


What about Drive Imaging (or Ghosting) from old 8RDA+ 1.1 to new 8RDA+ 2.x?

(list of differences would help...)

I do not see why it would not work. You could also just install the new board in your system and then try to boot. It may work. If not you could do a repair install of windows and then reinstall the drivers.

Reapair install is Windows 2000/XP only, not Windows 9x/Me, right?

i went from a 8rda to a 8rda3+ and all i had to do was install the sata drivers first,booted on the ide channel let windows detect the si sata controller,install drivers and put drive on the sata and i was in busness.since your going to a ver 2.0 of the 8rda+,it should be just a board swap.
