Does anyone have any ideas/plans for building a phase change system?
I am interested in building one, for about $300, I would just like some wise words before i go about doing so.
What coolant is the best? R134a, r12, R290?
How do I build a condenser block?

I don't know anything about R290 but R134a is cheaper and much more safe than R12 if you have a leak. $300 seems a little steep for a phase change setup, just rip apart an old window unit A/C or fridge.

I am also looking for guides on how to make a phase change !! everyone says itīs tremendously easy but no one explains how to
phase-change.com has some breif tutorials.
should be less than 300$ too. way less.
r134a is probably the worst coolant (temp wise), but its one of the easiest to get and maybe cheapest next to r290
r12 is old and i dont know if you can even get it anymore. its also expensive.
r290 is propane. and you know how easy you can get that. its also dirt cheap. saw a 16oz can the other day for 4 bucks. youd only use a couple of ounces btw so do the math.
you dont build a condensor. you build the evaporator.
need to make it out of copper and know someoen who has a milling machine or at least a drill press. pretty much forget it if you think your gonna do it with a hand drill.
and you need to know how to solder/braze it all together.
laters.
