I can get my system running a 1700 Tbred B to post at over 2.2 ghz. My problem comes as I can not get windows to load. That MS POS just freaks out and gives me error.

I did get into windows running at 164 FSB x 12 and 1.6 vcore at 1.97 ghz. Think my RAMs copping out or should I just go back to 2.2 and push my vcore and hope for the best? My RAM is Kingston single chip 512 DDR 3200.

its not the fault of the OS its a bad overclock.. you need to lower your OC and then make sure its stable by running prime95

lower the multiplier to 10 and push the fbs to 200 with 1.65V and if its stable

your ram should be able to run at 200fbs no problem so i dont see it being that
