1 - what's the differenece between intel and amd?(sounds stupid but.)
2 - how high can a duron 750 go(o/c)-->currently 7.5x114=855
3 - if i get better cooling and pc 166 ram will i be able o/c go higher?
4 - what cooling should i get? air cooling only and i live in hong kong so some of the stuff your recommend might not be avaliable so plz recommend a few

1. loads of differences. basically, they're two different companies, that produce competing products, but with very different approaches and internal architectures. this one is like asking 'what's the difference between sony and panasonic?'.
2. depending on your mobo and cooling, you should get more, but there are no guarantees with overclocking.
3. most probably, depending on your ram.
4. alpha pep66 and pal6035, globalwin fop38 and wbk38 - there are more. see the main page for a very recent article on this.

oh, btw.. the subaru impreza wrx gtr will take the skyline anyday!! ;) :)
