i have been having certian strange problems with my computer recently and have come to the conclusion that the power supply or something related may be to blame because i see voltage drops when i run cpu intensive things like prime95 for example. I need to know if these voltage drops are alright or are a problem. I have a p4 3.0C chip whose core voltage I think is 1.55v or 1.5v, but i cannot be sure which. When i run prime95's torture test, my +12v drops to about 11.750v and my cpu core drops to around 1.48v. At idle my cpu core is only around 1.53v. BTW, i am getting these values from 'intel active monitor' which is the software that came with my mobo. Are these drops normal or could they indicate a problem?
