I got my new AXIA 0110cpcw Y60902 80085 today from TCWO.com I put it in (locked) to make sure it worked and started playin with fsb I went up to 150 at default voltage and ran SANDRA burn n wizard in continuos loop and went and ate dinner cam back and still going strong 38C I shut her down and unlocked the cpu with loctite trace paint/resin and put it under heat lamp for 10 mins. ran out to the shop and touched up the fop-32 heat sink with some 2000 micro fine (had been previously lapped) applied arctic silver II and reinstalled went stright to Bios and uped the multiplier to 8.0 booted right up went into sandra and ran burn in wizard for 15 mins. then restarted and went back into BIOS and upped multiplier to 8.5 booted up great went back into sandra and ran Burn in Wizard for another 10 mins and here I am still at default voltage at full load she stays at 42.3C with the case closed. I think I got a good chip. I can see if I go up much more and have to start upping the Voltage I'm going to have to get a bigger HSF or first try a case 80 HO fan on the fop-32 heat sink right now it's got the fan that 3dfx puts on the fop-32. So far I'm real impressed with this set up.

I'm up to150x9 still at default voltage 43.8C under load with case closed. Will try for 1400Mhz tomorrow night .

How did you get the 1 gig 266FSB while in the tcwo web site they have only 1gig 200FSB for $146. How do I know for sure that I will get
that AXIA from TCWO?

They do have TB 1GHz 266 for $152, check the link:
http://www.tcwo.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/st_prod.html?p_prodid=1020&sid=1gi2Ty0GH2Xs8QH

But I am not sure where you can confirm it's a AXIA....

That CPU you got is definitely a "keeper"! Take good care of it.

That chip has definitely got more in it. Mine's running at 1430 with default voltage - tops out at 45 - 46C with FOP32 if the rooms not too hot. Will do 1480 at max Vcore but gets a little toasty with this HSF. Good luck

Hoot, where did you get that swiftech? How big is it or
do you have a link to any specs on it? By the looks of your rig it must be a damn good HSF I'm a little cramped for room in this Nobilis case(mid tower) my psu is about 1 in from my 3dfx modded fop-32 so I might have to get a better/bigger case to go with a bigger hsf. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks,

I'd say you should definitely go ahead and push the chip higher. I'm not really a believer in "burning in" to begin with, but there's no argument to the fact that there is no point burning a chip in at a lower speed than it is capable of running. I mean, why not just set it down to 600 MHz and "burn it in".

Go ahead and take the chip as high as it will go stably (use prime95 self test w/round off checking enabled to test). Once you hit the limit then burn it in. Don't waste time burning it in at 1275, especially when it is common knowledge that many AXIAs are sold as 1.33 GHz chips and should run at that speed with no problems.

Nagorak, I agree what you say makes sense. I have it at 140x10 now at default voltage the temps are creeping up so I'm going to work on better cooling.
I think it still has more in it! It's already surpassed my expectations. I was hoping to get 1300mhz that would have made me happy so 1400mhz is a nice suprise. I wonder what it would do with water and a peltier?

get a better hsf, you can get so much higher!

Yeh, I definitely need better cooling. I actually brought the chip down to 1385 (8.5x163) and found that I get the same or better benchmark results with the higher fsb. I'm also running cooler and can o/c my video card higher.

up to 1470mhz but she's not totaly stable. My zip drives acting up as well. Guess I'll stick at 1450mhz
