how is this CPU together with the A7M266 Asus mobo and a FOP 38 heatsink? is it stable??? or is it too "hot"???

The only thing i can find in australia is the volcano 2...thats it...nothing else....and the FOP38...
Boy, that sure narrows you choices. I thought the new Taisol CGK746002 was available there. I read a review of it at some Australian OC site. Given the two choices you have, go with the FOP-38, but see if they will credit you some money for not taking the fan. Then adapt an 80mm fan in its place. There are several articles around describing a simple procedure for doing that. I say that because the Delta 60mm 38 CFM fan is an obnoxious sounding beast.
