after a long search online, i found that axiontech seem to be the only site carrying the red PCB 9500s. They priced it at $155.. not that bad, if it's for a softmodable card.
Before i placed my order, i decided to double check if this picture isnt just there to deceive buyers. I sent an email, and placed a call to their customer service, both confirmed that it IS the red pcb, after hearing that, i was rejoiced with a wonderful discovery, and placed my order, total of $170.
3 days later, the order came in. opened the box, and i was shocked to find that I got the BLACK PCB. Called up their tech support, the guy said he cannot guarantee me a red one (wtf, you guys just promised me a red one). then he transferred me to the head of the company, the owner said they cannot do exchanges on such small things as teh color of the pcb boards. I told him that I had made a call and email to make sure what i was getting was the red pcb sapphire 9500, he then gave me some bs that 1 day in the "industry", is equivalent to a week, and 1 week is equivalent to a month.
In the end, i couldnt get my exchange, and I still have to chip in for return shipping if i want a refund:mad: I'm still mad about them not being responsible for making mistakes.

conclusion: Axiontech have by far, the worst customer service ever.

You got EXACTLY what you paid for. You cant blame the merchant for not giving you a red PCB card. No place will pick and chose for customers

Some unscrupulous vendors would have just ignored you and not even allowed a refund.

Next time get in in writing via Email where they promise a red pcb, this way you have legs to any argument.

That is totally so far from the truth that it is amazing you posted it. The man said he emailed, called and was told that YES he was getting a red card. What he got was fraud,. and he does have available ways to resolve the issue.
1 District attorney. He can report them. Fraud.
2 if he used a credit card, within 30 days he can ask for a credit and tell his credit card company he was send something he didn't ask for.
3. He can sue them for the money back.
You don't order a ford, then receive a VW and expect that you are going to get away with it, complacency is why this kind of sickness happens. The guy is a thief. Fight him.

I have to agree with leathersmt on this one. Customer service is lacking these days. People are far to willing these days to just accept what happens to them. You paid for a product that was promised to you and did not recieve that product. So no.... you did not recieve what you paid for like some might say.

i called them up again today, also got an email earlier in the morning, it's incredible how rude they sound.

"Alex,

Yesterday you spoke with the CEO of our company, didn't you listen, your problem was handled with a full refund.

Customer Service"

Anyways, the CEO of Axiontech insisted that i had placed my order a day after i called (which i didn't i called and placed my order an hour after that). He also said something funny about how i'm wasting his "valuable time" and he's supposidly losing a whole lot of money on that (well, if he had been a more responsible person, he could have resolved this problem a long time ago). However, i will get my full refund, but he still won't provide me with shipping.

The funny thing is their on hold message in the phone said "we treat every customer like our only customer~" even though they obviously didnt do that at all.

Oh yea, he also said that because of customers like me, they will change their policy and people can no longer specify the pcb board colors? lol, good for you.

guess i'll end up paying the shipping after all.

But yea, avoid these cheap *******s at all cost, they don't serve their customers well at all. on a scale of 10, i would give them a -3.

Wow I have ordered from them in the past without issue but I will stear clear now. Personally I think that the strength of the company is not measured by how it performs when everything goes right. Instead its measured when something goes wrong and how they handle it. I have delt with this in the past with online vendors and when you get the owner of the company emailing or talking to you on the phone basically telling your concern is invalid it is infuriating.

Hey, when you go to reorder your card, you should get it from Staples like i did in this thread (http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=222900). If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. Ended up being $139 shipped incl. tax, and it was red pcb with L-shaped memory.

ahh pummer you shoulda given me this tip a little earlier, i just paid someone else 180 for a 9800se, which is a pretty good deal too. I'm praying that the card can be softmodded to a 9800 pro, then i'll be real happy.
anyways, do you know anything else in particular that oyu can get for a much lower price through this system?
