Just got this T-Bird and wondered what it could do.

Check out the CPU database, you'll find what people have done, and how they did it!

Mine (green core) only goes to a gig with the L1 bridges penciled, I'll be getting a conductive pen soon to see if that helps. I have an abit kt7a-R with pc133 set to 7.5x133 with an fop32-I for cooling.

unlocking the bridges with a conductive pen will not help your overclock speeds at all. your processor is either unlocked or it isn't, the method u use to unlock it does not affect the CPU's overclock speed at all.

How do you know what color core you have. What diffrence does a diffrent color of a core make. i am running 850@1000mhz on a iwill mobo (kk266) :)

personally, i'd agree.. but a lot of people wouldn't. there are loads of people who say their overclocks have improved when the used a defogger kit or conductive pen over a pencil.

1000 is typical-1100 is good-more than that is extreme

I beg to differ. The medium of unlocking can yeild better and varied results. Using something like a graphite pencil, which is a resistor, will not work as good as something like a defogger kit or a conductive ink pen. Also, the pencil won't last as long as the defogger kit or the conductive ink pen, because the graphite in pencils has a tendancy to deteriorate.
