F@H and NFS6

I am an avid folder and fold as much as i can. I even like to leave folding on while playing games. But I know have a prob. I just got NFS6 (NFS: Hot Pursuit 2) and it runs choppy (unplayable), so Im all thats wierd and paused folding and then it was fine. Why was folding making the game choppy? All my other games work fine like C&C: Generals, and BF1942 and they never lag. Is there someway to have folding work while I am playing? Thanks.

It may be that the game runs at a lower priority than or same priority as FaH....?

Are you running the text console or the gui? The gui client is known for causing what you are describing. If you are using the gui, give the text console a try. If you are using the text version, then I am at a loss.
