What cable would I need for the BLUE line shown in the picture above? Crossover or just normal CAT5?

Ordinary CAT5, but set up a network bridge in Windows to let traffic run straight through. You can ask in Internet, Networking and Security for the details, since I haven't got one of those motherboards.

No, a straight computer to computer hookup without a switch/router as your blue line shows requires crossover. At least I am 99 percent sure, unless there is something I am missing?
