I recently contacted Compaq tech support for info on my motherboard and I couldn't get an official answer. I talked to four "specialists" on their chat support and each one gave me different info. I asked them what the maximum AMD Athlon XP cpu was that my motherboard could handle. One guy told me that the max was the AMD Athlon XP 2000+, another guy said the 2200+ and another guy said any AMD athlon cpu would work. One ***** even told me that my Presario 6015CA Series motherboard was not capable of upgrading from the current AMD Athlon XP 1800+ cpu. WTF! What kind of a company sells computers that can't be upgraded! I figured most people on this forum know more about computers then these Compaq retards, so if anyone can help me identify my mobo and tell me what cpus it can handle I'd really appreciate it.
