here're my specs:

Duron 750 with a really good cooler from Pabst (german you perhaps dont know)
NMC 8TAX
128 MB RAM PC100 Cas 2
and a TNT2 Pro (will change soon)

ok now I just wantet to overclock a bit. Put the FSB to 107. and put the Vcore a little bit higher (1.68 V) Temp at 38 ° C when normal working.
but when I run a benchmark it dosn't run through it simply locks up. That's the prob. also the sys locks up after a certain time.
Dunno what to do now.

what mobo are you using? what ram? boost the i/o voltage up one notch and the mobo voltage up one notch, turn the ram to case three and turn off four way interleave. does your heatsink use a thermal pad? If it does, get that crap off and use arctic silver- nine times out of ten temps are the reason for oc problems, your mobo might be giving you a false read

mobo I already wrote it's a NMC 8TAX
RAM dunno I think it's Infineon but not sure.
can I buy arctic silver in normal stores?
Know the website but I really don't like ordering there cause I'm from germany and then I would pay more money for sending the goods then for the goods itself :(

Infineaon RAM is good=probabluy 7.5ns. Artic silver is esy to get off the net at www.collerguys.com or www.3dcool.com-sounds like heat is the problem-at least remove any thernal pad if there is any and at least use generic thermal grease

Try backing the FSB down to 106 or 105, then do some more benchmarking. If your system doesn't lock up, then leave it there. Some boards/chips/RAM sticks just don't loke the FSB to be too high. My setup really isn't happy above 104, and even at that its touchy. You could try bumping the voltage a little more, see if that helps. You're just hitting that instability region that everyone hits while learning the boundarieds of their systems.

The best I can get is 102 ... -no comment-
well put the voltage up to 1.75 but it dosn't help. No way. Well thanks for the help anyway
