Wire Trick?

Hey, I tried doing the wire trick to change the multiplyer on my k7s5a as per this site. (http://www.ocinside.de/index_e.html) I did as they said, using tiny pieces of an ide cable. Basically, it didn't work. I'm still at 10.5, and was trying to change it to 12. I have a 1600+ palomino, and was wondering if it had to be unlocked or something in order to have the multi changed in this way, or is it something with my motherboard? Anybody know why this didn't work?

EDIT: NEVERMIND, I FIGURED IT OUT! :D
