Hi I have a 8RDA+ with a 80mm fan on stock nb hs, and everything else is on stock I could not get over 189 stable, maybe the mem, is a samsung 3200 i put it 2.90 v. my temps are not hi 40ºc o full load...
the nb hs is very cool but the sb one is a bit hot...
plz I need some comments sugestions.

To see if it's your memory that is limiting your overclock, set 'Memory Frequency' to 60% (of FSB) asynchronously.

If you then set your FSB to 200 MHz FSB, your memory will be loafing at 120 MHz.

Hope this helps!

thnks I will try this... and let me ask you something what else should I change the bios?
what do I change after a load bios defaults?

is there so many things like agp frequence should I change this to get more agp performace I put 100 mhz and on agp voltage I put the max 1.8 I guess.

thanks :)

One of the best suggestions I can give is to be sure and have you memory in the slot closiest to the cpu. I was only able to get about 180 in the other two but I got 192 in the inter mem slot.

Your Vcore is @ default? Maybe that's why.

c627627 and jonspd, thank you so much for you both.

Ill try this as soon I get home today...

Hey, I would definately try updating your bios. It sure worked for me! Just from the bios update, i went from only hitting 180fsb to 210fsb.

Try it, who knows but its worth a shot i guess.

I will update mine today too...

tomorow I put here my new fsb... :p

I just changed the mem to the 1º bank and I could get to 203...

move the mem to the slot closiest the cpu is the best tip ever!!!

Thanks jonspd!!!!

I'm glad you found your problem.
I thought it was weird not to get 200MHz with your PC3200 memory. (with relaxed timings that is).

No mods only a 40mm fan on nb. I planing to put somecool on sb too someday.
:0)
