i wanna know cuz i bought a ga-7vt600-l and it says my temp is 59-65 degress celcuis i wanna know if the probe takes temp of core or surface or other cuz i am worried bout the temp if it is the surface temp.:mad: :mad: :mad:
 
99.99999% sure its the CPU diode thats read for the VT600, also they seem to read high from what I have been seeing.

The CPU diode is the temp of the CPU's internal diode(core), older mobos read it from the socket but it was not as responsive or as accurate.

u've jus helped mee sooooooo much thx i thought i was a surface temp and was gonna waste like $80 (CAD) on a new heatsink and fan wit a duct and all, but i don think i need it now. besides the valcano 9 seems to be very good. 4 my uses
