I'm building a rig for my father and am thinking about going with a pentium4 800 fsb system.

This system will not be overclocked

Anyways, I need me 2 sticks of 512MB RAM that could run cas2 hopefully with some aggressive timings at 400Mhz. I know most people out there love Corsair or Buffalo, but that's generally thought of as overclocking memory.

So what's the best bang for my buck for a 512MB stick that runs at pc3200 speeds on aggressive timings?

Crucial is good. In my old computer I had the RAM slightly overclocked and aggressive timings. low price too

Kingston Value RAM, or Hyper-X if you need a lower latency.

I'm very happy with all mine (Value in server, Hyper-X in gaming rig)

I use Corsair 3200LL and it works well. Here is a site to the Overclockers New Zealand site with a decent ram guide.

check it out and other sites too.
