Can´t get my Athlon higher, any suggestions

I have my Slot A Athlon 650@875 at 1.85 on Abit KA7.
7x125, temp 38 degrees. It will post up to 900, but won´t enter Windows.
I believe it´s the cache.
Any suggestions what I can do, to get a little more out of it?

You have a great overclock there up 225mhz which is more than 1/3 the stock speed.You may not hit 900 seems to me getting to 875 is great and I bet no more advice can be given that you may not already Know.

This could very well be your L2cache, I advice you to use mathlon to set L2 cache after POST (berfore BOOT), but like Diehard says, your almost at the max. What's your mobo? K7V ASUS supports L2 setting in the bios (1008-c beta). Here (http://www.nexus.hu/plusabit/english/index.html) you can download mathlon beta 3.00, that's the one you've got to have!!! The bootfloppy works perfect, no beta problems, I have all settings from setup at the max. Succes!

the KA7 should support L2 Cache setting in the bios as well. So try setting that to like 1/3 . And give it more voltage if you already haven't.

Thank u guys, I was able to get my Athlon finally to 900, it was the cache in fact. Mathlon is a great tool, thanx for the tip.
