nb heatsink removal

i know this is stupid, but how do u remove the nb heatsinc?

i see the white spring loaded things, but i dunno what to do with em

From the back of the board use a pair of needle nose plires to release the posts. Then use a hair drier for about 15 seconds to balst hot air on the HS. It should twist off with ease after that.

yeah freeze is the best way but I only do this with newboards is there any problem put too much cold and put heat than coold again?
 
I don't think there is any problems with refreezing but you definatly should let the mobo cool to room temp before freezing and warm to room temp before using. I wouldn't throw a piping hot motherboard right in the freezer but thats just me :)
