I am upgrading processors. and these 2 are very affordable right now. Which one should I get and why?....Ive been out of the loop for sometime and am very confused about what is out there now. Last time I was in the loop the 1600+ was introduced.:(.
p.s. I am on my friends computer.

Of those 2 I would opt for the barton. SOme of the newer barton cores are getting some nice ocs and you gotta love that cache...
I like DLT3C 1700's,1800's, and 2100 all being tbred b's and 2500 barton's.

I see no point in getting a high end tbred when the low end ones can aquire more mhz......as for the barton I would get the 2500+ since again can get the same marks as a 3200+ :D

Go with the Barton if the choice is between those two. Newer technology, double L2 cache, great overclocker.
