chip vs. chip

ok so im after either the 2500, 2600 or the 1700, but would like (the same as everyone else) to hit the highest, which of the 3 listed has the best stepping and will hit the highest?

XP 2500+ BARTON AXDA2500DKV4D AQXEA
XP1700 Thoroughbred JIUHB DLT3C 0323RPMW
XP2600 OEM AIUHB

Any help here is greatly appreciated.

The 2500+ Barton. Remember it has double the cache, all in all worth 100 MHz extra if clocked the same as 1700+.

the 1700+ would properly hit the highest but with the 512k L2 cache on the 2500+ barton id go for that
