Not without some modding. Just get a 900U.

why do you need the "A" version?

The SLK-900A is AMD Only. It uses the mounting lugs on the socket which the mPGA 478 socket lacks

ahhh ok how, do u HAVE to remove the mobo with a 900U?? :)

Yes you do. You need to put the studs through mobo around the socket. Thank you need to put heatsink on top perfectly and screw it in to the studs.

SK-6 will work fine. Either on the slocket or the socket itself.

SLK800 should work too.

the slk-800U will work on a p4 but not the A.. all the A are for socket A only =d

Constantinos your wrong about removing the mobo on a p4 board with the slk900u. You can use the standard retention bracket on the p4. Although i wouldnt necessarily recommend it, i did not do it.

yeah you can, but i think retention bracket might not hold the 1.5lb heatsink if you gonna move it around alot like land party. Bolt on is best bet

when did they make the slk-900A?? i didn't konw it existed...

is it just 1C cooler than the 800 series?

it clips on right? doesn't need to be bolted on?
