If you've got 1k to spend, you don't need me to find you a deal... :D My recommendation would be to head over to the forums at fatwallet.com, anandtech.com, and hardocp.com for more info. Otherwise check out Dell.com as they are supposed to have some good prices on high quality LCD's as they deal in a large volume from corporate clients.

Good luck... and may I recommend you get a nice 21" CRT refurb for 200 bucks or $400 on a new one and spend the remainder on a nice watercooling setup or a Prometia? Or maybe a nice new Intel HT system with an Abit IC7-MAX3?
