I will soon receive my abit NF7 motherboard and will dismount the computer in my sig.

The question is: I have only one stick of ocz DDR pc3500 and was wondering if I will have a big difference if I put a second one for the dual ddr.

Also, if the answer is yes, do I need to have the same brand and the same pc3500?

The performance is increased only by 10-15%
I thing they only have to be 2xPC3500 or 2xPC3200 and etc.

No, it is not. Dual Channel utilizes a second memory controller, doubling the throughput to the cpu. However, AMD systems are not able to realize much of the benfits of the setup.
