Well since i baught my 1,2 ghz tbird i was thinking of boosting my tbird 700 to maybe 850-900 mhz so black & white will run smoother.
So i started by updating the BIOS, i shouldnt have done this since the bios wont let me pass 110 mhz (770 mhz) now i had it @ 800 hmz before (115mhz).

Next i checked that the l1 bridges was connected and to my surprise the l1 bridges wasnt cut at all. How come ? i only thaught that the newe 1,3 ghz's and 1,33 was unlocked from the beggining. And i belive that the core was green......

What do i do now ?.
There are no clock multiplyers in BIOS except the poosibiltie of raising FSB. The new BIOS said support for ICBW clock generator any idea's ?. And there are no jumpers either i hate this mainboard argh !!!

you can flash back to the old bios if you know the revision number and the website still has it posted. Looks like you are confined to the fsb overclock only from what you are saying.

If you find the old BIOS on the web site...keep a copy on floppy with your flash utility.
The ability to go back can be invaluable. Sometimes BIOS revisions provide support for features that you don't use and if thats all they do it may not pay to update at this time.

you are limited to FSB overclocking only with that board...maybe you should look into another board for your new powerful 1.2 tbird
