All these temperatures are confusing

Is there a good FAQ somewhere to explain all the tempertures and what they all mean? does the 2500xp have a tmeperature diode? or do you just use the motherboard sensor and If it does have a diode how do I access it?

Well...my mobo has a diode that is located underneath the processor, and I think almost all mobo's do. There is also another one located elsewhere for case temps. Just press delete or f or whatever the screen reads right after the VGA bios message comes on the screen. The time at which you should press delete or f1 is when the processor make/model and all of your drive info is showing.

Or d/l a free MBM5(MotherBoard Moniter 5) program which does basically the same thing but only in Windows itself, meaning you wont have to enter the CMOS. http://www.mbm.livewiredev.com/
