I WANNA UPGRADE TO A BARTON XP2500+
THIS CHIP IS 333MHZ WILL IT WORK ON THE ECS
I WILL BE HAPPY EVEN IT WORKS AT 266MHZ
I WANT THE BARTONS FOR THE 512K CACHE

The board will not boot at 166, but it is possible to boot at 133 and then use software to change it to 166 after windows has loaded. The other treads have very useful info on the programs and methods of doing this.

the other option is to leave it running at 133 and use the pinmod method to raise the multipler to get the full speed of the chip.
