I have a question. What does the FSB/DRAM ratio option do in the motherboard? The choices are plenty and look something like this 3/3 4/3 5/5 4/5 6/6 and second with my rig what should I have it set to? Auto?

Thanks

exactly what it says. it sets the ratios at which the fsb and ram run. ie 3/3=sync aka the busses are matched. 4/3=ram is running 75% the speed of the FSB, etc etc. it helps if you have say some pc 2100 ram but you wanna run the board at 200fsb.

But the why is there 3/3 and 5/5 as well as 6/6? Aren't all three the same?

i heard about some people getting different overclocking results with 5/5 then say for example 3/3. is that true? does it make any sense?
