I finally got a new cooler for my card. its an ARXceradyna one. At the store i got it from it said "for ATI Radeon 9XXX series". So i got it, I came home put it in (I didnt even have to remove the shim) and go to plug it into the 2 pin connector and it doesnt fit!The connector on the cooler is too big for the one on the card. Is there some way i can take the one off my stock cooler and put it on the new one or is there anything else I can do?

Can you give us a pic of the cooler, including the fan connector?

Im having trouble getting an image on here so for now just go to http://www.memoryexpress.com then go to the right side and click on Cooling&modding then Chipset cooling and it should be on the top of the page.

The connector on the cooler fits into my northbridge power connector.

Ok, never mind. I cut the wires of both coolers and soldered the old connector to the new one and it works fine. now gettin over 12400 in 3dmark :D

I don't think that it was meant to be pluged into the card but into the fan connector on the mobo. Did it specifically say its safe to plug it into the vid card? Also what is the rated voltage for the fan on the new cooler, if its 12v then it would've been better to plug it into the mobo (I think)
