NEw to overclocking, need some info please

Hey ya, i'm a realy n00b to overclocking and some advice would be great.

I so far have tried increasing the FSB of my processor up to 220 FSB, but it crashes there (I think it's the ram) I don't know anything about Ratios that people talk about, how to set the ras, cas, clocks, etc of the ram, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ummm maybe you should post ur specs, like ur proecessor type, your ram, and motherboard, and what type of cooling that you are using. that would help us give you tips.
