ok, have a athlon xp 2700+ on an asus a7n8x deluxe 2.0 bios 1005, current oc is 2.43(202x12), i can't go any higher, vcore is at 1.850(it's limit), i don't want to do a volt mod, so i was wondering,

a) does the mobo set the vcore or the chip?

b) if it is the mobo, is there a mobo that goes higher?

c)been asked a billion times, what board out there overclocks as easy as the asus, has all the great features and software, and allows higher vcore?

thanx

btw, not too worried about price, but try and keep it below $250.00 US

well the Abit NF-7 ver. 2 is the board to get, it is the most feature rich board out there, it even has VDD adjustments, and its highest possible vcore is 2.3, not that you're gonna use that much, but it is available
