I Have hit my record in overclocking today. I'm still wondering what the heck AMD put into that AXIA core. My Athlon is running with the AMD 760 Chipset and the bus is at 300MHz (10x150). My voltage is 1.87000v and I'm cooling the CPU down with a modified SuperORB. Temp is 39C Idle & 56C Max.

My question is, did anyone else manage 1.5GHz with there 1GHz AXIA Athlon??

P.S. My Computer is 100% stable. My buddy brang over some server software and cadding utilities and they all ran smooth with no crashes.

I did, 10x150 @ 1.88/3.56 but it feels like it is right on "the edge". It feels more stable at 10x145 @ 1.75/3.46) on my KT7A. That could be my peripherals though. It sure screams at 10x150 though!

Yea, at 1.5GHz, my GeForce3 feels like a ***** graphics card due to it being so damn slow!. Now, I just need to bump up my vram to 520MHz and everything should be fine. Anyone with a GeForce3 hit 520MHz Memory yet????

Just like I've been saying for a few weeks now, the AXIA 1 GHz chip is the king...

How did you mod your SuperOrb? I'd like to know just for reference....

My moded superorb was done with cutting out a small chunk from the bottom clamp end, so that I could properly fit it onto my KG7-RAID mother board. Then, my dad reset the voltage and wattage on each fan accordingly. It took him about 15min to perform the job. The end result was 5400rpm on the top fan and 6400rpm on the bottom fan.

org.
5000rpm
5500rpm

after modded.
5420rpm
6401rpm

I have no intention on putting the fan back to norm and plus my dad says the fan life would only be shortened by 2 to 6 months tops! The only reason I figure the superorb never originally come with that rated speed was because of the noise

UPDATE!!!!

heres one you can easily do your self with da superorb to make it run faster the easier way!

ok, on your case panel, drill a port near on par to where your CPU is located on the motherboard. Then drill 4 holes for screws to the 80mm fan specs and then stick one of those suckers onto the case panel, when you push and slide your panel back onto the case, the fan gets about 1 to 2 inches away from the super orb. When thats done, turn on the computer and then BAM!, the air pressure from the case panel fan will make the fans on the super orb spin 15 to 30% faster without any voltage mods!!!!! JUST DO IT!
