my friend is thinkin of gettin 423>478 socket adapter and a 2400mhz (400fsb) chip to get the most out of his abit th7

i was wondering if this will work since socket 423 only supported up to 2.0ghz cpu's

Also, if the TH7 has 133mhz FSB capability (I know it wouldn't officially - but might as an O/Cing option), you would probably have a better chance of it working using a 2.4B since its multiplier is only 18.
