Is a 30C difference between the socket and diode temps normal?

Im getting on idle
Socket: 40C
Diode: 60C

Load
Socket: 45C
Diode: 70C

I know the diode temps are high, but the system is quite stable (ran prime95 for 16 hrs). I am wondering if the diode sensor is just off.

Thanks

yea more info would be nice, many boards are known for reading very high temps.

If your diode temp is correct, then you have nothing to worry.
Max die temp is 90C. You are a good 20C from it.
