I'm tired of this!

I've had a Geforce 4200 AND a 4400 crap out on me... I need something better... something ATI. I've narrowed it down to:

Radeon 9500 pro $190
Radeon 9800 non pro $250

Is the extra $60 worth the difference? Keep in mind I'll be upgrading in about 2-3 years and the vid card will be replaced when it's out of date.

Yea, the mere $60 is worth it IMO. Ive got a 9500 Pro and absolutly love the card, but i would kill for a 256bit bus :) hehe

for $60 xtra get the 9800, it'll last you longer than the 9500. But with the rest of your system you might not be able to notice the difference very much.

Then the decision has been made. I wonder how fast this SOB is going to be... Morrowind gets choppy even on my 3200+ and old ti 4200.

The 9800 np is definitely worth it. If there is a compusa near you they have a sale until the end of august 9800Pro $299 ar.
