Hello everyone, I just thought it would be nice if we had ALOT of people submit their SiSoft Sandra CPU Arithmetic Benchmarks and CPU Multi-Media Benchmarks. It would be a very good reference for people that are thinking about which processor to get or just to see what other people are getting. Please list you MHz, CPU, Mobo and other essential info if not already in your sig.
You can get SiSoft Sandra from here (http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/index.html?dir=dload&location=sware_dl_x86&langx=en&a=)
And remember, the more people that contribute to this the better it is for everyone.
what about your scores to start it off :D

Haha, I know, I was thinkin that after I posted. But another reason I put this up is am in the middle of OCing my 2700. I OC it a little everynight and stress test it when I sleep. But here is what I have on a AMD Tbred 2700, ga-7n400L1 mobo, running at 13x175, about 2280 MHz, on some good crappy 2100 ram lol. Its good ram.....but it is time to upgrade.

This is with the rig in the sig. I got the chip today from a friend so I am just starting the OC, so I will update when I think the chip is maxxed out.. or had enough. lol.

this isn't a fair test....
duallie's kick but on these tests...basically double your scores and you get a duallie's score...
but in real life they are not twice as fast...
most of the time they are slightly slower than an equally clocked single cpu machine...
however sometimes they are actually more than twice as fast as a single cpu machine (e.g. when a single cpu machine gets bogged down when you ask it to do too many things at once...and a program stalls or crashes)
@ 2.3ghz.

@1.4ghz more later stupid under volting post mobo
Dhry - ALU 3773 MIPS
Whet - FLU 1879 MFLOPS
Interger - iSSE 7284 IT/s
Float - iSSE 9151 IT/s
I feels weak when looking at the 2.3ghz Athlon XP. But my chip gives a similarly clocked Athlon XP a good rumble.

I personally think anyone who buys a processor based on a SI Sandra score would be a fool as the benchmarks do not test just the processor performance alone. The benchmarks is also flawed regarding the difference in performance between a dual and a single processing system. This is without mentioning HT
Its also worth remembering that Si Sandra can be made to give different results for the same system depending upon OS used and as such imho is only worth measuring performace improvements on your own system

that was taken when i only had my single stick of 512. i score 5050 on ram now. :)
