Well.. I need some help on getting some new stuff for my computer. Mobo, processor and RAM.. I hear good things about both AMD and Intel but I am not sure who I should go with. I'm not the biggest hardware buff, but I know enough. The only thing I have really been looking at processor wise right now is the P4 800 fsb with an Asus mobo. I hear from most people to go with Corsair, Kingston or Crucial. I'm all open for suggestions. I was just looking at what you guys are using and what direction you think I should go in. Money isn't really an issue so don't hold back ;) thanks

If money really isn't an Issue then get a P4 3.0 C with a ASUS P4C800E DLX 2x 512 OCZ PC4000, 2x WD Raptors In RAID 0 and a Radeon 9800Pro. I think that's a good start to a system with no real limit on money.

Ok, but how overclockable is the 2.8 vrs. the 3.0. Even though money isn't a big issue its still quite a jump from the 2.8 to the 3.0 money wise.

Crucial for budget.

P4 800FSB for Performance.
AMD For budget.
