IC7-G+WinXP Pro+ BIOS = HELP!
I have been having reboot issues on some of my programs on my computer. It would then reboot back to Windows and I would always get that stupid "Your System has recovered from a serious error" message everytime!
Now I read somewhere that IC7-G users may have to reinstall WinXP from scratch after upgrading to BIOS 1.5 and above. Will this resolve my reboot issue?
I know for a fact that my CPU isn't over heating. My rig is watercooled (look at my sig) and the CPU temps hovers around 41-47C while the case temp hovers around 41-42C. I even have an Antech True550 550W PSU to make sure there are enough voltages. I also added the new Abit NB heatsink/fan I ordered through Excalibur Computers. The computer is not overclocked and the voltages for the CPU is 1.6V and the memory voltage/timings are at 2.7V and 2.5-7-3-3.
My disks are in Raid-0 right now and my BIOS version is 1.5. Do you guys think I should back up my work and reinstall Windows XP Pro from scratch?
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
