Two actually.

First, is there an actual option in the BIOS to enable/disable dual channel? Which is it?

I searched for my second question after posting so ignore it if ya want.
Second, CPU Disconnect Function... what is it? What option should I have for it?

There is no option.. it just depends on which ram slots you use.

I'm not sure about the cpu disconnect thing.. i looked in my manual and don't see it. I don't think that is even an option in my 10 bios i use now which is probably why it's not in the manual.. I remember this when i used the 14 bios though i think and i know i turned it off.

Yeah, in some other post it was decribed as: It allows your CPU to reach an absolute idle... or something like that. I think I'll try disabling it and see what happens.

Yeah, i'd turn it off.. If your not using it turn it off or disable it for maximum performance, even ports and things.
