OK i'm probably gonna get laughed at for this but how can the 9800 np be the same 9700 pro? I mean the 9800np costs less????

Is there any difference in quality or overclockability or ANYTHING??

You're guaranteed 2.8ns RAM on the R9700PRO, while it a flip of the coin on the R9800np (2.8, 3.0, 3.3, maybe even 3.6??)

You get an R9800np w/ 2.8, and your a BIOS flash away from an R9800PRO:D

from what Ive seen, just about all 9800nps (even with 3.3ns RAM) overclocked to over 9800 Pro speeds (have to flash in some cases). 9700 pros are expensive because they are no longer in production.

stock they perform almost exactly the same, but the 900np has WAY more potential even at 3.3 you can put that sucker @ pro speeds+ fairly easily.
