guys need help, just bought a gig of dual channel pc3200 cas 2 hyper x memory, i installed and readed 166 mhz the first time, i went into the bios and tweak it, now reads 200mhz but my scores and everything went down, in sandra the memory benchmark did 2226 mb/s and shows a generic brand of pc2700 cas 2.5 being faster??

i don't know a crap about timings, what's a good one if im not overclocking my cpu fsb? and being stable

try running at 222 that oughta fix your scores

I'm able to run my Hyperx at 5-2-2-2.

But in all, scores didn't rise much from my standard valueram... sure it gave it a bump, but not much.

And for all I know, going dual channel is not all a positive boost.

Cheers, Flix

not sure this helps mem, but run it 1:1 with cpu... its just better that way.
and that way you can have faster timings (i have kvr2700 at 133 running 2/2/2/4)
