how come my systems never work

For some reason I have never really had any system work for me but one. When I try to upgrade the mobo and stuff it still doesnt work (nothing will show on the screen). I just recently bought a new mobo,cpu,memory and psu. I hooked it all up and everything worked fine but nothing would show up on the screen so i chagned the video card and that wasnt the problem. I have this problem every time i try to change the mobo. Finally i would have enough and then get my old stuff goin and and on the first try it would work. Anyone know what my problem may be?

Cursed hardware man. I've got a case fan that if I hook up to a computer, it's garunteed to kill or temporarly disable something.

First time I put it in my case, my computer wouldn't boot up for two weeks. Second time I put it in my case, it fractured one of it's blades. Third time I put it in, it fried a stick of RAM.

I'd be willing to bet something in that setup of yours is cursed :D

Back to the original question, when you upgrade the mobo do you reinstall your OS or attempt to boot off the old hard drive? If not, that could be your problem. You haven't mentioned specifics so it's pretty nigh impossible to provide any detailed assistance. I think there's an obvious flaw in your method, configuration, hardware, or...a combination of all three. If nothing showed on the screen, you didn't get to post, if the vid card was OK. Did the board power up? Questions, questions, in there somewhere will be the answer.

Yea i was cursed...By the mobo being grounded to the case. It just so happens that the one mobo that worked didnt ground to the case perhaps and all the other ones never came with the plastic things I needed but this one did. So as of now I finally got it to work and everything is running great. FINALLY I can get a constant 99-100 fps in CS haha.
