Thats a coollermaster led fan, isn't it? :)

It says on the packaging, 50,000 hours (your guess was sweet, seiferoth10)

50,000 hours works out to be about 5.7 YEARS of solid run-time, and don't forget that 50,000 hours is an average.... ;)

Yeah, it's a Cooler Master. I use that fan on my heatsink and still unsure if it's going to die on me.

You have to remember, that that 50,000 hours doesn't take into consideration any thick coatings of dust, etc... =0P Dust will also get into the bearings & start to clog it all up.

I also wouldn't beleive the hour rating on a lot of the newer fansd out there, as theres no way they've bothered to test the fans for 5+ years. A lot of companies are getting on the PC mods bandwagon & cranking out all kinds of new types of fans.

How old is it? If it's only a year or two old then I wouldn't worry about it. And anyways, a fan isn't too expensive to replace every three or four years for the peace of mind.
