Hello,
I currently have an old style Antec SOHO File Server and have been very pleased with it. This is a great case for many reasons. For one you have 4 quick mount fans. Two in the rear, two in the front with one for hard drive cooling. This case also has a very convenient screwless/toolless door opening. It opens like a house door. This door also has the abilility to be locked if required. There is also a remove door on the front that covers the drives which is nice when the computer is turned off, which is also lockable. It has quick slide rails for all four of 5-1/4 drives. So total there are 4 external 5-1/4 drives. Two external 3.5 and two internal 3.5 bays. Over all this is an excellent case with plenty of room and cooling capabilities for all you overclocking adventures. Available at the following retailers:

I hope this was helpful. IF you have any more questions please feel free to e-mail me or PM me.

Thank You,
Daniel

I just got this great new case from GameVE. It's like the Antec and it's as cheap or cheaper. It comes in 5 colors and comes with window, 5 fan slots (3 fans included). I also bought some sf2's and kept 2 of the original fans on the back, put one sf2 on the bottom front intake and switched the side window fan with a sf2 and put the original on the top front intake. The side window also comes with a cool grill cover.

I like this one:http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA=&submit=Go&description=N82E16811129127

Its small but still roomy, has a 120mm fan in the back and looks prerry nice too.

If you want more room I would look at the SOHO server cases before you go with TT. But that is just my opinion, the TT cases are actualy not THAT bad of a deal, one modle comes with somthing like 7 decent fans and a ~25dollar baybus, oh, and then there are the somwhat doofy looks.

I like how the Thermaltakes look also, i got the Xaser III which is the one that comes with 7 fans and the baybus. Its a really nice case IMO and i really like it

Two words, Lian Li. Can't get better than these cases. It's got looks, functionality, hands down, no other case compares. Can't beat the design of any of these cases, they have a large variety to choose from, but all are top notch quality. I've used just about every major brand for system builds and Lian Li have been very thourough in quality case design and funtionality. There are too many good things to say about this case, I don't know where to start. If you look at any case mod site and when looking at winners and those admired cases, they almost all wear the Lian Li badge :). So if you want top quality, looks, craftmenship and whatever other category you want to throw in. Lian Li is an easy choice.

sbud- did that PC-82 come with two rear fan slots or did you add one? All the Lian Li's that I have seen come with only one rear fan slot and a top blowhole. Did that case come with a pre-made blowhole? Also, where did you get it and how much?

The fans are grade-a horrible, moving 20CFM @ 12v. You may get 1CFM per fan after the horrible punched out grills and restrictive filters. The Bay bus never really works properly either, and is rated for 5w only per line. It has horrible build quality and a horrible window quality, both easily warping/cracking. Not to mention the absurd looks.

Then again it does make a nice CRUNCH due to the horrible build quality when you kick it into the dumpster.

Hey Nick, ya the second rear case slot was already there, looks like I have the upgraded model that you cant even find an image of online :). Anyhow, got the case at Compusa, it's even available on their site. The case was 149 without the thermal sensor and I think 179 with it. No sense in spending the extra 30 for a thermal sensor when it's prolly half that price online. Oh ya, it also came with a top blowhole. When requesting the case, I was under the impression that there was no window, opened up the box, sweeett, window too... man, got a couple of bonuses withougt even expecting it (second rear slot and a window). Ya, I am very very stoked on this case. You should get it at all costs :) I also slapped two 80cm Tornados up front for intake (downvolted of course) and I have two YS-Tech 48cfm double ball bearing 80cm fans for exhaust, just a regular 32cfm for the top blowhole. I'm looking online for a side panel upgrade online and will probably get a replacement side panel with two 92cm blowholes to cool my hot to trot 9800 Pro.

Lian Li.

They offer FANTASTIC cooling, TONS of space, and they are sexy as hell. All of the mid-towers I believe have removable motherboard trays, but the full towers, PC-70, 75, do not. I have a PC-75 and LOVE IT. There is absolutely nothing that I can think of about this case that I do not like. I mean LOOK at all that space.

Lian Li's are expensive...at least mine was, but it was WELL worth it. Because if I ever want to do watercooling or anything like that, I do not have to worry about buying a new case in order to fit it easily.

ok after checking out the various cases on overclockers.co.uk, i see these as potentials:

Thermaltake Xaser III V2000A Aluminium Super Tower - Silver (CA-003-TH)

Antec Plus 1080AMG Metallic Gray File Server - 430W TruePower PSU (CA-001-AT)

Coolermaster ATC 200B-MX2 (No PSU) (CA-025-CM)

any opinions?

go to http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Cases_7.html

for the cases website.

cheers
