if you want to overclock your CPU and you want to add some paste
to cool extra, where do you have to bring the paste and how much?

You want to put just a thin layer on the core of the proc. Use a razor to spread it around, don't use your fingers as the oils on them will lessen the effectivness of the paste. Happy OCing!!

The best thermal paste out there right now seems to be Artic Silver II, it comes in two forms paste, and epoxy. I think the epoxy actually glues the heatsink to the core (I'd stick with that regular old paste personally).

You can pick it up for around $8 bucks at coolerguys.com I applied mine using a business card just squirt it on the core and apply a thin layer evenly over the top being careful not to get it on anything else. It was easy even for a novice like myself.

G'luck with it,

Sirfin~

Actually, the epoxy does not cool quite as good as Arctic Silver II. That is the best stuff out there to use, but regular stuff is pretty good too. Just spread a thin layer over the core with something other than your fingers and something that would leave fibers behind.
