ok for the beast im building i have a 2700 the stepping is DKV3D

now the last digit is D meaning that it has the larger size cache right?

total info is
2700DKV3D
AIUGB 0244

the reason i ask is also cause i have seen almost NOBODY else with this particular proc and i think it might be due to almost the entire batch of them went to japan possibly where they wouldnt report most of thier OCing stuff on english sites ( just my theory )

The stepping is actually the "AIUGB 0244" which designates the CPU as a t'bred B made in the 44th week of 2002. I am pretty sure that the code that you are refering to tells the stock voltage, the stock L2 cache and some other things about the CPU. ;)

The last D is referring to the FSB rating - C=266, D=333, E=400

the number 3 is referring to the cache size - 3=256L2, 4=512L2

ahh thanks leet that was what i was looking for

i knew about the aiugb but didnt know what else to call the other stuff so i just lumpped it all together lol
