hey, got a duron 600, connected bridges, overclocked to 1050mhz no problem. Tried to go higher (fsb increase) and when i get to the win2k b&w loading screen (right before color loading screen) it says its missing a file. I went back to 1050 and it booted. Tried again, same error. How is overclocking causing this? Oh, by the way, you have to see my setup, its hilarious :)

You exceeded the limit of your chip. Did you shut it down and do a hard boot or just do a soft boot?

You may have corrupted windows. Does it boot ok at default speed?

That was the max though, I ran them at 1035 or 1028 to keep them stable.
I agreed. When you hit the max frequency, back off a little to enjoy stability. Better be safe than sorry :-) :-) :-)
